2006 "Honor the Game" Award by the Positive Coaching Alliance of Stanford University

In 2006, the Central Missouri Eagles were the only youth hockey team in the nation to receive an "Honor the Game" award by the national Positive Coaching Alliance. The PCA, based at Stanford University, emphasized the Eagles' public service projects in making the award.  Only three teams of any sport were recognized by the PCA in 2006.  The Eagles were honored by Missouri state and federal legislators, and the governor of Missouri, for this achievement.
